Reading and Typing eBook and Online Courses
Did you know that the average person types about 40 words per minute (wpm)? However, the average child types between 3-10 words per minute. But not being able to type is the modern day equivalent of not being able to write with a pen or pencil.
By typing 3-10 words per minute, it could take one hour for a child to type just one paragraph, but that same paragraph could be typed in about 5 minutes if the child knew how to type quickly and correctly.
Most typing courses begin with the home row keys: asdfjkl;. They are repetitive, boring, and meaningless.
As a reading teacher, I knew that there had to be a faster, easier, better way! And as a special education and ESOL teacher, I wanted to create a way to reinforce literacy skills as well as typing skills that would support a variety of learners including students with:
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Demential/Cognitive Disorders
- Dyslexia
- Dysgraphia
- Special Needs
- English Language Learners
- Business Professionals
- Administrative Assistants
- and more!
I designed the revolutionary Reading and Typing course to teach children (and adults) how to type through teaching phonics and spelling patterns. In just 10 minutes a day, your child (or you) will learn how to type quickly and correctly!
You may purchase the Reading and Typing eBook, or you can also purchase the eBook + the Online Course option. The entire course can be completed in 5-15 hours (depending on your current typing speed).
In order to determine your current typing speed and select an appropriate course, take this one-minute Typing Test.
